Recall:  An essential for all dogs, a dependable recall.  During this 2 hour event we will help you teach “Rover” to come when called.  We will show you several different techniques as well as discuss how to motivate your dog to want to come to you when called, even under distracting circumstances.  This is a great starting point for folks new to training as well as a great refresher course for those who would like to brush-up a bit. 

Polite Leash Manners:  This is what nearly every dog owner wants from their trusty friend. Yes, it is possible to walk your dog down the street with a very polite well-mannered dog.  We will show you very simply, how it is done.  In this 2 hour course you will learn several different techniques to teach your dog those leash manners you so desire.

Canine Good Citizen Test Preparation:  In this 2 hour workshop we will be learning about the certification requirements for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test, as well as practicing the skills needed to pass the 10-step test and obtain certification.  This rapidly growing program and is now being recognized by many state legislators as a means of advocating responsible dog ownership.  
(CGC is a certification program that is set-up to recognize dogs that have good manners.  The program focuses responsible pet ownership for people and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test can receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. For more information see the AKC website www.AKC.org)

Your New Puppy: During this 2 hour seminar we will cover all the ins and outs of raising a great puppy.  Maybe you already have a pup or maybe you are planning to bring one home soon.  Even if you are contemplating getting a new puppy, this seminar is a must for you. We will teach you about everything from puppy-proofing and potty training to how to handle annoying puppy behaviors such as nipping, chewing, jumping up, etc.  We will also have plenty of time dedicated to answering all your puppy questions and concerns.  It is very important to set yourself and your puppy up for success right from the start and we are here to help you.

Fun Tricks for Dogs & Kids:  This is a great way to get the whole family involved in training!  It’s loads of fun for the kids and we think the dogs like it too!  We will show you and your kids all sorts of fun tricks and games your dogs and kids can practice together.
$25.00 for each dog/family team.   This seminar is 1 hour and 30 minutes. 
(Children must be at least 5 years of age and accompanied by an adult at all times.)
